Privacy Policy for Power Up AI

Thank you for choosing Power Up AI (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose information when you use our App, including data collected via AR technology for tracking and collecting body information to support sport workouts.

1. Information Collected via AR Technology and Camera

1.1 Data Collected

The App collects only non-identifiable body information via AR technology, which cannot be used to recognize or identify individual users. This information is specifically related to sport workout tracking and includes:

  • 3D body contour coordinates (e.g., positions of limbs, torso, joints, and muscle groups relevant to workout form).

  • 2D body feature point coordinates (to map body movements, postures, and exercise ranges of motion).

  • Real-time body movement data (to track workout intensity, repetition counts, and form accuracy for interactive feedback).

In addition, the App allows users to voluntarily capture photos and videos of their workout sessions with AR overlay effects (e.g., motion tracking markers, form correction prompts) within the App. These user-generated media files (photos/videos) are stored locally on your device at your discretion, as initiated by your explicit operation.

1.2 Camera Permission Usage

The App requests camera access solely to:

  • Capture real-time 2D body images, which are processed locally on your device to align with 3D body data from AR technology, rendering motion tracking markers, form analysis overlays, and other workout-related interactive elements in real time.

  • Enable users to voluntarily capture photos and videos of their workouts with AR effects, which are stored locally on your device as per your operation.
     

2. Purposes of Data Collection

All data collected via AR technology and camera is used exclusively for the core sport workout functions of the App and user-initiated local storage, with no secondary or unrelated uses. All collected data is utilized to support and enhance your sport workout experience. Specific purposes include:

  • Workout Motion Tracking: Map 3D body geometry data to track exercise movements, count repetitions, and monitor workout intensity in real time, providing instant feedback on your performance.

  • Form Correction & Guidance: Track subtle changes in your body posture and movement (e.g., joint alignment, torso stability) to trigger dynamic AR prompts for form improvement, helping you exercise safely and effectively.

  • Workout Experience Optimization: Adjust AR tracking accuracy and feedback algorithms based on body geometry data (e.g., adapting to different body types, workout environments) — this optimization is performed locally on your device and does not involve data uploads.

  • User-Initiated Media Storage: Support users in voluntarily capturing and storing photos/videos of their workouts with AR effects locally on their device for personal review, progress tracking, or sharing (at the user’s sole discretion).


3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any data collected by the App (including non-identifiable body information and user-captured photos/videos) to third parties under any circumstances. This includes:

  • No sharing with advertising partners, analytics providers, or any external services.

  • No disclosure to third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes, except as required by applicable law or government regulations.


4. Data Storage and Retention

Storage Location:

  • All body information collected via AR technology is stored locally on your iOS device only. No such data is uploaded to our servers or any cloud storage services.

  • User-captured photos and videos are stored locally on your device at your discretion, managed through iOS native photo library functions. The App does not transfer these media files to any servers.
     

Retention Period:

  • The temporary body information collected via AR technology is retained only while the App is running. When you close the App, all such temporary data is automatically deleted from your device.

  • User-captured photos and videos are retained locally on your device until you manually delete them via the iOS photo library. The App does not automatically delete these user-generated media files.

You may manually clear all cached temporary data of the App by navigating to App Settings > Clear Local Data (this will not affect user-captured photos/videos stored in the iOS photo library).

5. User Rights

You have full control over the data collected by the App and user-generated media files:
 

Permission Revocation:

You can revoke camera and AR technology access at any time by going to iOS Settings > Power Up AI > Camera and toggling off the permission. Revoking access will disable AR body tracking, workout feedback, and media capture functions but will not affect other App features or existing locally stored photos/videos.

Data Deletion:

  • Temporary body information is automatically deleted when the App is closed, or can be manually cleared via the in-app "Clear Local Data" function.

  • User-captured photos and videos can be manually deleted by you through the iOS photo library at any time.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy in the App or via other communication channels. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
